Michael, unfortunately you can not have a detachable magazine on a semi-auto shotgun in Commiefornia. Michael, unfortunately no this is not legal in California. Any semi automatic shotgun with a detachable magazine is restricted in California. If you want a tactical shotgun I'd recommend a pump action since they don't have the same restrictions as semi automatics. Sorry but hope this helps.
