Hi Carl and welcome. Not really and only up close. You would be best served with #4 Buck Shot loads for coyotes. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/34351/fiocchi+high+velocity+12+ga.+2+3+4+27+pellets+4+nickel+plated+buckshot+10rd+box - Cheers and stay safe!
Carl, this will work well on groundhogs. For coyotes I would go with #4 buckshot. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/34351/fiocchi+high+velocity+12+ga.+2+3+4+27+pellets+4+nickel+plated+buckshot+10rd+box , Stay safe & have a great day!
Carl, as others mentioned this wouldn't really be ideal. It could work if up really close but because the shot size is so small/light it looses alot of energy quick. I'd recommend buckshot. If interested here's a link to ones I'd recommend. Hope this helps, link here..................... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/65082/winchester+super-x+12+ga+2+-3+4+27+pellets+4+buckshot+5rd+box
