Michael, no problem, always better to be safe than sorry especially when dealing with firearms. I personally like my fingers. This was designed for 5.56/223 but is multi Cal and will work with 9mm and any caliber smaller than 9mm, so 22lr, 380 acp, 223/5.56, and so on. Hope this helps.
