Hi Preston, No because it is not legal to take across state line.
If you live in KY and want to pick up a gun in Tenn. you can (legally) do it as long as it is a long gun. Handguns must be received from a FFl holder in the state you reside in. I would contact buds and check their policy on this matter 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button
You can only pickup a handgun in the state for which you are registered. You could pickup an out of state long gun only. The transfer form 4473 must match your state issued ID's including current address. An out of state FFL could get in serious trouble if not lose their license or be fined.
James long guns can be bought from a ffl across state lines by batf rules
here is the Batf law FFL may sell a long gun to a non-resident 18 years of age or older who appears in person at the FFL's premises or in person at a gun show in a State where the FFL is licensed - if the sale is lawful in both States, § 922 (b)(3)(A). I buy rifles and shotguns at FFLs in Va. and live in NC (on the state line)
