Hi James, This is due when they get low on stock. Prices climb back towards the retail price. Buds is in the stock game. This is why when you see something cheaper you need to jump on the deal before it goes away. Just a couple sold makes the prices rise.
It may even be the last in stock as I see it says under 5 available.
Buds uses a inventory software that raises prices when firearms get low. low stock levels on hand = higher prices
You can get this one for $512 https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/price_match_open/1/products_id/3965/Springfield+9M+COMP+3.8+13R+2TN
Prices are related strictly to inventory level. Once under critical low inventory levels Buds inventory engine (which updates every 20mins) raises prices. If you learn to play the inventory level game you can save hundreds at Buds. Also, the good news is that the price will decrease again when it's restocked.
