David, as of now you still can't purchase high capacity magazines. From what I'm reading the judge issued a stay which means the law will remain in place to allow the governor time to appeal his ruling. If it's not overturned then you will be able to purchase high capacity magazines. The judge gave them 10 days a few days ago. So you should know within the next week or two if you're allowed to or not. Hope this helps and wish you and California luck.
With Newsom in charge of CommieFornia, I'll go out on a limb here and say Never...
Hi David and welcome. Your local legislature will let you know in a couple of weeks. Cheers and stay safe!
David, as of right now, you can not. California Attorney General Rob Bonta, who enforces the state's laws, plans to seek a stay while he appeals the decision to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. Judge Benitez delayed enforcing his injunction against the law for 10 days to give Bonta time to seek a stay. So, stay tuned, we should know more in the next week. Stay safe & have a great day!
