Brandon, this is MD compliant. The 29" length rule is for SBR's with a barrel less than 16". This is not a rifle, nor does it have a barrel less then 16", so it does not apply. This is a shotgun with barrel that is 18.5" long. You are good to go. PS - Now you can go educate your local FFL. Stay safe & have a great day!

You need a New FFL!!! I'm glad my local guys know their stuff!!! This is totally good to go in your state of MD. Instead of echoing ED C. I'll just say he's 100% correct!!!
