Once you set your irons or dial in your dot I'D say it's 6 of one, half dozen the other. More a matter of preference. Some guys swear by irons, some live for the dot.

Robert, one is as accurate as the other, although the end result ultimately comes down to the shooter. Stay safe & have a great day!
