1st time getting a shotgun, was wandering is thus gun ready to load and shoot out the box? I know it has three chokes, which one is installed already and do I change it out for a different load like a slug?

Jacob, yes sir, it is ready to shoot out of the box. This includes improved cylinder, modified, & full choke tubes. Not sure which one comes installed, but IC will give best results for slugs. Do not shoot slugs thru the full choke. 
IC is a standard choke for all-around upland hunting,
Modified makes a good all-around choke that meets many applications. It's a good choice for big-party pheasant hunts, where shots can be longer than the ones you get over a dog.
Full remains the best choice for long-range shooting with lead shot, and it is very popular among trapshooters, as it has the reach to break targets from as far back the 27-yard line.

Hi Jacob and welcome. This model is ready to go right out the box. The middle choke (Modified) is usually installed from the factory on most shotguns with multiple chokes. Just remember no slugs through Full Chokes, best accuracy with slugs is Improved Cylinder. Best shot pattern is with Full for bird and buckshot unless you are shooting Hornady Versa Tite or Federal Flight Control wad loads which pattern best in an Improved Cylinder choke.
