M-Lok (short for Modular Lock) is a mounting system that allows you to attach accessories- like an optic, laser, flashlight, or bipod - to a negative space mounting point. And yes, they're many to choose from if you wanted to swap it out.
Hi James and welcome. It is an accessory slot attachment type. Key-Mod, M-LOK, Magpul are some slot types. It just means you need direct M-LOK based attachments or M-LOK based Picatinny rail slots (Various lengths available here): https://www.budsgunshop.com/search.php/q/mlok+rail
James, M-LOK, for Modular Lock, is a firearm rail interface system developed and patented by Magpul Industries. Compared to the Picatinny rail system, both M-LOK and KeyMod enable the user to have a slimmer, lighter, smoother and more fenestrated handguard/fore-end with accessories mounted only where needed, whereas a Picatinny handguard typically will have rail slots for its whole length, resulting in a heavier and bulkier handguard with sharp edges and poorer barrel ventilation. This gun is not compatible with other handguards, so you won't be able to swap it out. Just make sure any accessories you add are M-Lok compatible. Stay safe & have a great day!
