The North Haven, Connecticut based O.F. Mossberg & Sons made a name for itself by making no frills, rugged, and utilitarian shotguns that worked really well at a reasonable price.

The Mossberg plant is in North Haven, Connecticut. I have head that some parts on other shotguns (namley the stock on the Maverick 88) were made in Mexico and assembled states side.
