HST2S uses 147 grain bullets while HST1S uses 124 grain bullets. The heavier bullets have slightly lower velocity and overall muzzle energy and slightly lower recoil as well.
The difference is the weight of the bullets. The heavier the round loses velocity slightly. HST2S-147 grain HST1S-124 grain
Hi Yitzhak and welcome. The weight of the projectile/bullet on the HST2s is 147 grains and the HST1S is 124 grains. The 124gr bullet will be faster and expand more but penetrate less and the 147 will be slower, expand less and penetrate deeper. Both are excellent self-defense rounds. Carry lighter in the summer and heavier in the winter due to light and heavy clothing. Cheers and stay safe!
Yitzhak, the HST2S is 147 grain ammo, and HST1S is 124 grain ammo. Stay safe & have a great day!
