Yeah, we can't have Semi-auto shotguns with detachable mags here in NY, I'm also upstate. Might want to look into a Bullpup or Keltec. A guy came into my local shop yesterday to pick his Keltec shotgun up so he let me check it out. Pretty nice lil shotgun. The KS7, holds 6+1 but it felt good, compact design, carry handle on the top like an AR can have. Green fiber optic front sight. Depending on what your needs are, this might make a good substitute.
