Jonathon, this is a compact version, not a youth model, per se, but does have a shorter length of pull of 13", compared to 13 3/4" on the regular size, and only slightly lighter in weight, 6 lbs 8 oz to 6 lb 12 oz. Stay safe & have a great day!
