Check out the reviews on the page for this Walther. It seems to loves eating this range of grain ammo so 36/40 grain would be primo!!
Robert, both 36 and 40 grain will work. I have had good luck with Federal and CCI. CCI - https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/63200/cci+.22+lr+40+gr+mini+mag+round+nose+0030+100+round+box , Federal - https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/12843/federal+.22+lr+36+grain+copper+plated+hollow+point+525rd+box , Stay away from Armscor ammo. Stay safe & have a great day!
Robert, yes sir, this will work fine with both 36gr and 40gr ammo. As with any firearm especially 22lr firearms can be picky about ammo. I could have the same exact firearm that likes blazer ammo and could jam every other round in your's. So my best advice would be to try several different brands in different grains and see what it likes best. If interested here's a link to a bulk pack of 36gr Remington golden bullet ammo Wich I've tried in several firearms with good results.............................. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/147399/remington+ammunition+21250+golden+bullet+22+lr+36+gr+hollow+point+hp+525+bx+12+cs ............................. A good 40 grain option is cci mini mag Wich I've also had good luck with in pretty much every 22lr I've shot it in, Link here if interested........................... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/63200/cci+.22+lr+40+gr+mini+mag+round+nose+0030+100+round+box .............,......... Hope
Hi Robert and welcome. 36gr and 40gr will not be an issue. I highly recommend sticking with the Porsche of 22 ammunition, CCI : https://www.budsgunshop.com/search.php/type/ammo/caliber/10000844-22+long+rifle/manu/204 -------------- Cheers and stay safe!
