Sure, .410 is fine for squirrel hunting!! Ya just wanna tighten up the choke pattern a bit for those critters.

Hi Kevin and welcome. This is fine as is for squirrels. #6 shot is all else you need. Reminds me of the scene from The Outlaw Josey Wales when the soldiers are surrendering and turning in their firearms and the young lad says about his rifle......
