No, will absolutely not Damage a 9mm chambered pistol/carbine. The FPS is close to 1200. This is great training/target practice ammo.
Hi Larry and welcome. No Sir, it will not damage 9mm handguns. This is NATO specification ammunition rated at Muzzle Velocity of 1200 ft/s - Muzzle Energy of 396 ft-lbs. Cheers and stay safe!
Larry, this ammo is safe for your pistol, it is not +P. It is loaded to NATO specifications, this is the same ammunition that is currently being shipped to American soldiers overseas. The 124-grain, full metal jacket projectile travels at 1188fps, delivering 388 foot pounds of energy at the muzzle. This is for range training, target practice. Stay safe & have a great day!
Larry, nato ammo is usually a little hotter than standard ammo but it's still within Saami specs and will not damage your firearm. This is not +p or +p+ ammo. It has a muzzle velocity of 1200fps and muzzle energy of 396 ft-lbs. At 5 yards the velocity drops to 1188 fps and 388 ft-lbs of energy. So it's perfectly safe to fire in any modern firearm. Hope this helps.
