Any weapon with a 1913 picatinny or weaver rail such as an AR, bolt gun. The low sight would be for shotgun since "closest to the barrel sights work best". You would need a higher sight or riser so you optics such as red dots sights would co-witness with the front sight of your rifle.

Larry, This can be used with any firearm that has a 1913 picatinny or weaver rail

For the size well it really depends on the red dot you'll be using. Some are taller then others. This mount would be for a shorter red dot so it isn't so high up.
