Why doesnt the Remington 700 SPS TACTICAL AAC SD have the AAC-SD stamp on the left side of the reciever?
The one I bought a few years back has the AAC SD & the barrel is more of a greyish color.

John, On July 28, 2020, Remington filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and its assets were divided up and sold to various buyers. The Remington Arms business was sold to Roundhill Group LLC, which now operates it through the holding company RemArms LLC...... so it's very possible you bought one before and after switching owners. Hope this helps.
