Russell, yes sir. The 18.5" barrel has a fixed cylinder bore choke, good for slugs and 00 Buck shot. The 28" barrel uses accu-choke tubes, and you can shoot slugs with improved cylinder choke tube and for 00 Buck you will get best results with full choke tube. Stay safe & have a great day!

Hi Russell and welcome. Yes Sir. Slugs and 00, 000 Buck are no issue. Just use Slugs with Cylinder and Modified Chokes only with the 28 inch barrel. Hornady Versa-tite and Federal Flite -Control wad buckshot loads give the best pattern with a Cylinder choke. Cheers and stay safe!
