Jesse, yes, this is rated for +p ammo but as with any manufacturer they recommend limited use since it can wear parts quicker than standard velocity ammo but honestly unless you're shooting thousands of rounds of +p threw it doubt you'll ever notice a difference. So if you just plan to shoot +p once in awhile to test defense loads you'll be just fine. Hope this helps.
