No it will not be safe in a judge from Buffalo bore "These Heavy .45 Colt +P loads are safe in all LARGE FRAME Ruger revolvers. (includes Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk, all pre-2005 Vaquero, Bisley, Redhawk) " They are "ruger only ammo" which is a category in a lot of reloading manuals with tons of warnings to only use in Ruger and Freedom arms revolvers.
