David, unfortunately no, this is not Maryland compliant. If this was a rifle then a heavy barrel is legal but since this is a pistol it has to be on Maryland's approved list of handguns and unfortunately this is not. It's much easier to get a AR15 rifle then pistol in Maryland. I grew up in Maryland and luckily moved to PA Wich has much better gun laws. Sorry but hope this helps.
