I just received shield plus with ct red dot. I dont see ct seriel# anywhere. Not on box just gun seriel #. And wat type battery? This is 1st firearm.

Steven, this uses the widely available CR2032 lithium battery. This optic has no serial number, only a date of manufacture. You are also not required to register it for warranty, just keep your proof of purchase for it.
