Charles, it sure is. This is a Ruger new model super Blackhawk in 44 mag. I have a old 1979 new model super Blackhawk in 44 mag and they're fantastic, beautiful revolvers. 44 years later and countless rounds and it's still going strong. My wife's Grandpa was a prison guard and he was issued that and a 38 special Ruger speed six that he gave us before he passed. Two of the best revolvers I've owned. Hope this helps.
