The sights on Hi-Point carbines are a nice peep and post sight. For older eyes glass of some kind is better.

Shoot it for a while then decide for yourself in the sight meets your needs why spend money before you know if it will give you a improvement in performance

Michael, a buddy of mine has this gun and he does not like the sights. Try it out and if you don't like them, swap them out.
