Hi Latisha and welcome. Yes, this is legal in MA. Cheers and stay safe! https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/massachusetts_restrictions.pdf
no its not "The Shockwave has been approved by the BATF for civilian ownership, and is legal in most states. However, it is not legal in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York."https://thegunzone.com/is-the-mossberg-shockwave-legal-in-massachusetts/ article as of 13 nov 23
Latisha, unfortunately MA is one of the few states where the Shockwave is prohibited. Pistol-grip firearms expelling a shotgun shell that are 26" or longer in overall length, but with smooth-bore barrels shorter than 18" in length are not being transferred by Massachusetts FFLs. Regardless whether pump-action or semi-automatic, this category includes the ****Mossberg Shockwave,**** Remington Tac-14, Emperor Arms Duke / Mogul series, Charles Daly Honcho, RIA VRF14 and the like. You can see the details here (scroll down to the 'Other Restrictions ' heading) https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/massachusetts_restrictions.pdf , Stay safe & have a great day!
