Terry, it sure does. It folds down where the barrel and receiver meet. Like a standard break action shotgun how you break it open to insert a shell but unlike most this one folds all the way down instead of just enough to put the shell in. Great little camping or truck shotgun. It is small and light so they definitely have some kick to them. Hope this helps.
