Hi Thomas and welcome. Nothing different with the trigger or the gun. just the fact that Sig submitted it through the rigorus/costly certification wit the State of CA. Shame that the list is getting smaller as referenced by the number of firearms that have been allowed to fall off the CADOJ Handgun Roster : https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/de-certified-handguns

Thomas, the only difference is Sig Sauer paid the CA extortion fee to have this added to the roster. Stay safe & have a great day!
