Trevor, the MA compliant model has a lock-out safety device for added security. The lockout device installs into the bottom of the grip and allows the user to lock the pistols fire control mechanisms with the provided lockout key. When activated, the lock out device blocks the downward movement of the hammer strut which then precludes the forward movement of the hammer. This gun does not have a 10lb trigger, ****This feature nullifies the 10lb trigger requirement. ***** Stay safe & have a great day!
