I'm buying this for my 10 year old boy for his first shotgun I know I can shoot turkey shot through this gun but with the three choke tubes I should be able to shoot deer slugs through this as well is that correct?

Hi Brad. That is correct. You can shoot slugs through up to Modified Choke only. Never through Full Chokes. Cheers and stay safe!

You can with modified choke ONLY, do NOT use Full Choke!

Brad, yes sir, this shotgun includes improved cylinder, modified and full choke tubes with choke key. You get best results with slugs with IC choke tube. Do not shoot slugs with full choke.
