Handguns You can "Purchase" it but they would have to ship it to a FFL holder in your home state of Ohio for you to pick it up and do the paperwork/background check. You can not receive it in KY. Long guns can be purchased over state lines as long as the purchase is Legal in both states
Long guns can be purchased at out of state shops in person, but hand guns cannot. You can buy it at their location and have it shipped to your local dealer. It will be waiting back home for you to arrive.
