Hi Charles, this is legal in Utah as is. This is not a NFA item, so no tax stamp required. Stay safe & have a great day!

Hi Charles and welcome. No Sir. It is classified as a standard handgun/pistol so no NFA registration or $200Tax Stamp required. You can add a Brace without issue but a Shoulder Stock would require a Tax Stamp. Cheers and stay safe!
