Any handling or usability issues running this carbine with full-size M&P9 magazines? I've read somewhere that the pistol grip works with Compact mags but that full size mags have a gap? Any issues? Thanks!

Hi Matthew and welcome. Absolutely no issues. The magazine catch location is identical on the full size and compact magazines. The gap of the full size magazine makes absolutely no difference in function. Cheers and stay safe!

Are you referring to the gap at the base of the magwell if a longer magazine is inserted? If so, then you can use the 23 round magazines with sleeve, link below. They'll run perfectly.

Matthew, there are no issues using full size magazines, there will be a gap where they extend past the grip, because they are longer, but it does not affect the function or reliability. The link Jason post below provides an example of a sleeve which will fill the gap, if desired.
