Hi Michael ad welcome. Yes Sir. You should shoot slugs through Cylinder or Modified Chokes only and not full choke. This shotgun comes with Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full Chokes.

Hi Michael and welcome. Yes this gun will shoot slugs. It takes Multi chokes, and comes with full, modified, and improved cylinder chokes. Improved cylinder will give you the best results with slugs. You want rifled (sabot) type slugs. Do not shoot slugs through a full choke. Stay safe & have a great day!
