I thought the rear sight was also adjustable for elevation on this model, but it doesn't appear to be? Do I need aftermarket sights or electronic to raise the POI?

Hi Jonathan and welcome. It is drift adjustable for windage only so, you would need fully adjustable rear sight replacement if wanted. Cheers and stay safe!
