There is another very similar rifle (RF-15) for sale for $419 with 88 reviews, what is the difference between that one and this "orphan" rifle? Also, someone described that one as "a little heavy". I'm looking to shed weight from my Mini-30 - approx how much do these weigh? Thanks

Hi Mark and welcome. Both have 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Heavy Profile Barrels with (Melonite Finish), the only difference is the above model has a 15" Free Float M-LOK RPR Handguard and the $419 model has a 15" Free Float M-Lok Thin Rail Handguard and B5 Type 23 Pistol Grip with a B5 BRAVO 6 Position Collapsible Stock. Thes are slightly heavier than the standard A2 pistol Grip and Mil-Spec Carbine Collapsible Stock of the above model. The $419 model's thin handguard makes the overall weight a wash as both weigh 6.8lbs. Cheers and stay safe!
