Based on one of the reviews, it looks like the muzzle device cannot be removed from the barrel. Does this mean that we cannot put a suppressor on this out replace the flash hider?

Hi Sangameswara and welcome. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and the muzzle brake is removable. A Suppressor can be added such as https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/3123/gemtech+one+.762+titanium+5+8x24 - Cheers and stay safe!

Sangameswara, according to the Ruger web site,  the barrel is threaded 5/8x24, so the muzzle device should be removable.
