Hi Matthew and welcome. The M9A4 features a combined decocker and safety mechanism. So, when you engage it, not only does it safely decock the hammer, but it also acts as a safety by preventing the trigger from being pulled. Cheers and stay safe!

Matthew, the M9A4 will come with the "G" style decocker-only lever as opposed to having a manual safety and decocker combination. Stay safe & have a great day!
