Looking at getting a CZ 457. Still deciding on the best first model. Would like to have both .22 lr and .17 hrm. I see a two barrel version (with both .22 and .17). Wondering about the availability of CZ barrel sets. Might get the Lux (with sights, then add the other caliber later). Thoughts? Also looking at the Varmint version. Will be doing small game hunting and target practice.

Hi Samuel and welcome. The availability of barrels has been slow from CZ so it is best to get the combo barrel package from the rip. I tend to favor the Varmint version as I favor the heavier barrel. CZ barrel availability should recover in the near future as production seems to be starting to ramp back up. Cheers and stay safe
