Hi Jeremy and welcome. This model has a 22" Carbon Steel Barrel with 1:9.125 Twist Rate. It would not be better suited for coyotes. Heavier rounds, more expensive, overkill for coyotes. A dead yote is a dead yote and the .223 does it way less expensively. Cheers and stay safe!
