I would like to know the magazine capacity of the model 512268695 with 2 3/4" shells. Bud's says 4 + 1 in the chamber, but the Winchester.com website says 5 in the magazine and other sellers on-line are indicating 5 + 1 in the chamber. Of course, shell length makes a difference. I am asking about 2 3/4" shells.

Hi Philip, I saw your first question and was trying to answer when it was deleted. Bud's description is in error, as were the other 2 answers. This holds 5 rounds in the magazine, whether 2 3/4" or 3 " shells, plus one in the chamber for a total of 6 rounds. The Winchester web site is correct.

the winchester web site say 5 2 3/4 shells in magazine which would equate to 4 3 inch shells in mag I think that is where the confussion comes from Magazine Capacity

I think Randy is correct, it will hold (5) 2 3/4" shells but only (4) 3" shells.
