Any shotgun chambered for 3" shells can Also shoot 2-3/4" shells.

Hi Vince and welcome. Yes Sir, a 3 inch can fire 3 in and shorter shells no issue. Same concept as a .357 magnum being able to fire the shorter .38 Special. Cheers and stay safe!
