Technically, yes you could add a stock. It would be mechanically and physically very easy to do. However, doing so will turn you into an instant felon as adding a stock would turn it into an SBR. Do not add a stock to an AR Pistol.
while you could add a stock it would result in it becoming a SBR and would require paperwork and a NFA tax stamp prior to installing the stock you can add a pistol brace with no legal issues
Hi Juan and welcome. You can but NFA registration and $200 Tax Stamp must be paid as it would then be classified as a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR) You can add a Brace without changing the Pistol classification. To add either a Brase or Stock you need to change the non slotted buffer tube to a slotted buffer tube : https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/5173/patriot+ordnance+factory+00342+buffer+tube+anti-tilt+ar-15+mil-spec+7075+t6+alu --------- Cheers and stay safe!
Juan, if you mean pistol brace, you can not with the factory buffer tube, it would need to be changed. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/5173/patriot+ordnance+factory+00342+buffer+tube+anti-tilt+ar-15+mil-spec+7075+t6+alu , You cannot add a stock without first registering with the ATF and paying a $200 tax stamp, but you can put a pistol brace on with no ramifications. Stay safe & have a great day!
