Hi Charles, I would not fiddle with this on a new firearm due to warranty purposes. I would call Buds for assistance with arranging service to get this corrected via LiveChat (available from 9AM to 9PM 7 days a week), the "Contact Us" tab at the top of the page, or phoning at (859) 368-0371 (available 9AM to 9PM EST Monday through Friday).

make sure the firing pin hole is clean and lightly oiled I would also Contact Buds at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. because I cant find any contact info for ASI. if nothing else maybe Buds can get you a number or where to send it for warranty/repair
