This will shoot Silver bear steel cased ammo just fine. Since steel is not as pliable as brass, you will have more blowby (carbon buildup sooner) and will have to clean your rifle a 1/3rd sooner but not a big deal. Also shoot steel or brass cased ammo separately during shooting sessions or do a quick clean between mixing the two.
