Caliber is not important as long as it has a .308 bolt face. This will be a project rifle and I won't need a scope. The barrel / action finish can be scratched and worn, no problem. Stock can be broken or cracked as I'm going to replace it with a chassis anyway.

I would call local pawn shops and  check with the major auction sites like G(un)B(broker) and G(uns)A(merica) Remove ()
