Hi Brandi, yes this is chambered in 7.62x51mm and will also fire .308. Stay safe & Happy Holidays!

Hi Brandi and welcome. Yes, the barrel is stamped .308 and will shoot the lower pressure 7.62x51 no issue. If the barrel was stamped 7.62x51, that would be the only recommended ammunition to fire. Cheers and happy holidays!
