Hi Corey and welcome. Full power shells should be used but this model does well with down to 1200 fps for regular bird shot. you will be fine with most high brass loads whether buck, slugs are bird shot. Cheers and happy holidays!

Hi Corey, some of these Turkish shotguns do requires loads above 1300 fps, but the owners manual doesn't specify a minimum velocity, so it should be good, at least once broken in, with lesser velocity loads.
