Hi Jeremy, the X actually is on the rifle. The X you see is not on the stock, but part of the Anderson AR15 Tactical Charging Handle, as seen here >>> wingtactical.com/firearm-parts/ar-15-parts/ar-15-upper-receiver-parts/charging-handles/anderson-manufacturing-ar-15-tactical-charging-handle/ , The difference between this Pro Tac & the other Utility Pro (B2K869A026) is the charging handle, everything else is the same.
